One-Day AuroYouth Camp by Ranchi Branch

Location: Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Doranda, Ranchi

Sri Aurobindo Society’s AuroYouth Camp was held on December 8th, 2024, at Sri Aurobindo Ashram at Doranda, Ranchi, where 55 young youths participated from across Jharkhand. It was organized by the Ranchi branch of Sri Aurobindo Society and conducted by its Chairman Dr S N Trivedi and his team.

The sessions started by introducing Sri Aurobindo and the Mother, with a brief description of their goal and work.

Then the two interactive sessions on the topics of ‘Aim in Life‘ and ‘Values for Success‘ happened. The resource persons spoke on how to decide the Aim of Life, how to deal with various emotions and how to attain ‘Success in Work’ and ‘Success in Relationships’.

‘Sri Aurobindo. Ek Nayi Usha’ – this animation film on the life and contributions of Sri Aurobindo to humanity was screened to the youth, followed by the distribution of bookmarks of the upcoming Film on the 5 Dreams of Sri Aurobindo. Also, there was a fruitful discussion among the participants after the screening.

During the Camp, Black Belt Marshal Art, Singing and Dance were presented by the students to give tribute to Sri Aurobindo and the Mother.

To conclude the day, the participants were taught the Mother’s chant and were given copies of her guidance book ‘Seeds of Light’.
