One Day Youth Camp at Durgapur Branch of Sri Aurobindo Society, Durgapur Branch

One day Auro Youth camp was organised by Sri Aurobindo Society, Durgapur Branch on 26th August 2017. The programme commenced with hoisting of the Mother’s Flag by the Chairman Sri Aurobindo Society, West Bengal State Committee, Sri Binoy Kumar Bajari. The Participants were introduced to the camp by Indrani Haldar, she also guided the participants on their attitude towards the camp through example of “Three Pots” from Tibetan Buddhism.
To enhance the concentration towards the camp Smt. Jayantika Basu, Secretary Sri Aurobindo Society, West Bengal State Committee, conducted a session on Breathing Exercise and concentration.
Sudhendu Saha, Jt. Secretary Sri Aurobindo Society, West Bengal State Committee gave the participants an insight to Sri Aurobindo, The Mother and Sri Aurobindo Society, the life of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother immensely inspired the participants.
The Succeeding sessions on “Aim of Life” and “Inner Awareness” was conducted by Sourav Chattoraj.
The post Lunch Session included Participatory Activity where the participants were divided into groups and each group were given an attribute (based on the 12 Virtues of the Mother) to speak on after discussion with the other members.
The Programme concluded with Feedback and Question & Answer session and distribution of certificates to the participants
